California Gov. Schwarzenegger's office is accepting calls from anywhere regarding their marriage equality bill. It passed both houses of their legislature, but needs the Governor's approval. It's all automated, so you don't have to talk to anyone.

Follow these directions:
1. Call the Governor: 916-445-2841 (This number is listed at www.governor.ca.gov) (00-111-916-445-2841 internationally)
2. Push: 2 (voice your opinion on legislation)
3. Push: 1 (gender-neutral marriage bill - Senate Bill 849)
4. And push: 1 to support marriage equality

Pass it on.

I did this and I live in Australia. It takes all of 1 minute. Honestly. You have no excuse. Do it.

thanks for that lara. as i hadnt seen much on this bill, i was a bit unclear about what the deal was (i dont watch news...) but, support dialed.

I just called. Thank you so much for posting this! I've been following this story closely for the past week, and I was absolutely outraged and heartbroken when he immediately went for the veto. I hope this makes a difference. I have no idea if it really will, but it's worth a shot, right? :)

It IS worth a shot. At least you know there's 8356236 people supporting you ;)

It freaked me out whent he machine said "Thank you for calling the office of Arnold Schwazenegger" or whatever. I was like "eeee" I am so glad I didn't have to talk to anyone, because I hate talking on the phone, but I would have done it even if I did have to talk to people ;)
